The second Sunday is July 8, 2018. The Chapter decided, after much heated debate, to claim the second Sunday of the month as our day to ride.
Present: Snake, Colonel, Papa Smurf, Squid, Bosox, Tattoo, Chippy, Ripcord, Prospect.
Ride: VFW 8207 to Cape Canaveral National Cemetery.
I will only show the start, because as all good bikers know, once you get there, getting home is a whole different story.
As you can see, quite a few miles are straight as an arrow. I like to call them "thinking mans roads", because one can let the mind roll just as smoothly as his wheels.
We roll NE with me at the front. Not because i like to lead, but because i showed up first. Snake passes the order "Colonel, you go ahead and lead to the gas station (Chippy begs "can we please stop so i can get some water?"), then we will regroup. Ronald Reagan crosses 17-92, but i was confused due to heavy lane construction. Like Squid said, "Well, we'd get here one way or another."
Our fearless leader Snake takes over the number one lead and away we roll. It is an official ride, because we made one u-turn.
